Job Description

1. Advanced Cargo & Baggage ScreeningX-Ray Analysis: Operating high-tech X-ray machines, Inline Hold Baggage Screening (ILHBS) systems, and technical equipment to scan commercial cargo, courier packages, and checked airline baggage.Threat Detection: Analyzing real-time X-ray imagery to spot restricted, prohibited, or dangerous goods (such as explosives, weapons, narcotics, or hazardous chemicals) before they are loaded onto aircraft.Physical Inspections: Conducting manual "hand searches" or open-bag examinations when X-ray imagery is ambiguous or alerts are triggered.2. Aviation Security (AVSEC) ComplianceStatutory Frameworks: Executing security duties in complete compliance with the protocols established by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.Chain of Custody: Ensuring that screened cargo remains sterilized and protected from unauthorized tampering or contamination until it is transferred to the aircraft hold.Logistics Entry Control: Monitoring cargo complex gates, verifying entry permits, and checking shipping documentation to ensure only authorized personnel and cargo enter secure zones.3. Log Management & Shift OperationsShift Logging: Maintaining meticulous, legally auditable shift records, screening reports, and daily electronic registers of all cargo cleared. Incident Escalation: Immediately isolating suspicious cargo and reporting irregularities or active threats to senior airport security officials and local law enforcement teams (like CISF).Rotational Flexibility: Working in round-the-clock rotating shifts, including extensive night duties, based on active commercial flight schedules and cargo arrivals.
