Qualification

MBBS with completion of one year of rotating internship, Valid registration certificate from Medical Council of India / State Medical Council, At least 5 years of working experience in a recognised hospital, Desirable: Postgraduate medical qualification (MD/MS/DNB) in relevant specialties

Job Description

1. Primary Outpatient (OPD) Care
Daily Consultation: Running the campus health unit/dispensary during specified part-time hours to provide medical consultations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe treatments to students, faculty, staff, and their dependents.
Basic First Aid & Emergency Triaging: Providing immediate emergency medical assistance, stabilizing patients during sudden workplace or hostel medical crises, and determining if a patient needs to be transferred to a specialized hospital.
2. Preventive Healthcare & Campus Hygiene
Health Awareness: Advising the institute administration on preventive health measures, including managing contagious outbreaks or seasonal illnesses (like dengue or influenza) within the campus community.
Sanitation Monitoring: Periodically reviewing the hygienic and sanitary standards of the student hostels, campus staff quarters, and institute canteens.
