Qualification

MBBS degree from a recognized university.
Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the appropriate State Medical Council.

Job Description

The selected Medical Officer will work on a contract basis at an ECHS Polyclinic and will be responsible for:

Providing outpatient (OPD) medical consultation to ex-servicemen and their dependents.
Diagnosing illnesses and prescribing appropriate treatment and medications.
Managing common medical conditions and referring patients to specialists or empanelled hospitals when necessary.
Maintaining patient medical records and preparing medical reports.
Participating in preventive healthcare activities, health education, and medical screening.
Following ECHS and Ministry of Defence guidelines for patient care.
Coordinating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality medical services.
