Project-Based Research: You will conduct in-depth experimental and theoretical research for funded projects, such as those in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgy.
Educational Standard: Requires an M.E./M.Tech in a relevant field (like CSE, IT, or Electronics) with at least 60% marks (6.5 CGPA), or a B.E./B.Tech with 80% marks (8.5 CGPA).
Mandatory National Test: A valid GATE or NET score is essential; applications without one are typically not considered for the JRF fellowship.
Hands-on Technical Duties: Responsibilities include planning and executing laboratory experiments, managing project databases, and supporting procurement processes for project materials.
Documentation and Reporting: You are responsible for performing literature reviews, analyzing data, and preparing high-quality reports and research papers for publication.
Financial Compensation: Offers a competitive monthly stipend; for example, specific technical projects provide ₹31,000 + 8% HRA, while others under different funding can reach up to ₹48,100 per month total.
