Job Description

Plan and implement textile development programs across handloom, silk, and MSME sectors to boost production and employment.
Monitor and evaluate government schemes related to textiles, ensuring effective execution and timely reporting.
Supervise textile units and field operations, including inspections of weaving centers, spinning mills, and cooperative societies.
Provide technical guidance and advisory support to artisans, entrepreneurs, and small-scale textile industries.
Promote modernization and innovation by introducing improved technologies, machinery, and production techniques.
Coordinate with government bodies, financial institutions, and textile organizations to facilitate sectoral growth.
Prepare project reports, budgets, and policy recommendations for improving efficiency and sustainability in the textile sector.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines, maintaining industry benchmarks and productivity levels.
