Job Description

Museum Management: You will be responsible for the organization and development of the Zonal Anthropological Museums (ZAMs). This includes designing displays, preparing plans for museum growth, and modernization.
Field Survey & Collection: A major part of the role involves leading or joining field parties to collect museum specimens, specifically focusing on tribal and other regions across India.
Conservation & Preservation: You will perform and supervise the treatment, maintenance, and preservation of museum artifacts and biological specimens to prevent deterioration.
Documentation & Research: Compiling and processing field data into scientific reports. You may also conduct specific anthropological investigations as assigned by the Head of the Office.
