Job Description

General/IT Support Profile
Core Duties: Handling IT applications, managing virtual meeting platforms (Zoom/Teams), and performing data entry.

Administrative Tasks: Managing computer-based records using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Project Coordination: Assisting in the daily administrative operations of the assigned project or bureau division.

B. Field & Research Profile (Agriculture)
Germplasm Management: Characterization and field evaluation of various plant germplasm (seeds/crops).

Field Gene Bank (FGB): Assisting in the maintenance of registered crop varieties in the field.

Data Collection: Recording growth parameters, flowering dates, and stress responses in experimental plots.

2. Young Professional-II (YP-II)
This is a more specialized, post-graduate level role focused on high-level research.

Genetics & Breeding: Contributing to "Pre-breeding" research for the genetic enhancement of specific crops (like chilli, beans, or peas).

Laboratory Work: Performing molecular breeding tasks, DNA extraction, and marker-assisted selection.

Statistical Analysis: Using software to analyze complex phenotyping and genotyping data.

Reporting: Preparing research papers, progress reports, and technical presentations for the Principal Investigator (PI).
